On December 20, 2019, from 1.30 p.m. - 2.45 p.m., Judge Charoenchai Asawapiriya-a-nan, Presiding Judge of the Bangkok South Civil Court acting Deputy Secretary of the Supreme Court, warmly welcomed Professor Enrico Albanesi, Associate Professor of Constitution Law University of Genova, Italy.
On this occasion, Professor Albanesi had an opportunity to watch a video presentation on the introduction of the Supreme Court before attending a brief lecture, given by Judge Charoenchai, on the authority and function of the Supreme Court. Then, Professor Albanes, Judge Charoenchai, together with Ms Nattaya Thongsuk, the director of the Supreme Court, had a discussion and exchanged their views on the proceedings in the Supreme Court of Cassation of Italy and the Supreme Court of Thailand, including development of court technologies. They then took a tour of Supreme Court before taking a group photo with the background of picturesque Supreme Court building.
