The President of the Supreme Court attends The 10th Council of ASEAN Chief Justices Meeting At Kuala Lumpur, Federation of Malaysia

Chief Justice Chotiwat Luengprasert, The President of the Supreme Court of Thailand, together with the delegation attended The 10th Council of ASEAN Chief Justices Meeting holding during from 4-5 September 2022 at Kuala Lumpur, Federation of Malaysia. In the first session of the meeting, the President of the Supreme Court gave the opening speech and expressed his ideology and determination of the Thai court to support the cooperation of justice administration and law in the Asian region whether in form of bilateral or unilateral level. The President of the Supreme Court also gave gratitude to working groups of Asean Plus Meeting of which the Court of Justice of Thailand is the main coordinator to greet, via teleconference, The Chief Justice of People Republic of China   and Chief Justice of Republic of Korea and observers from Japan. It has been recognized that Asean Plus Meeting is the crucial step for the Council of ASEAN Chief Justices to implement the cooperation among Council of ASEAN Chief Justices and the supreme  court of People Republic of China, Japan and Korea which will bring about the joint benefit of the courts in Asian region under the rule of law.
